Welcome to my Personal Website.

I’m the Founder and Lab Director of PercepTonic, my consulting practice based in Dallas, Texas. We formulate embedded vision solutions for clients who need custom algorithms to build next-gen products. Recently, we started licensing our embedded stereo solution to current customers with special applications.

I’ve been fortunate to earn a doctorate at the Carnegie Mellon Robotics Institute under Takeo Kanade and to work at Texas Instruments’ R&D labs. On this site, you’ll find more detailed information about my contributions in face analysis, automotive safety, video security, and gesture recognition.
